You can see pallu of this sari has saffron color thread woven & ikat work with floral design. The center part of sari has similar woven work with tie-dye work. What is special about this saree? KOTKI/ BOMKAI SARI:Bomkai Sari or Sonepuri Sari are the traditional saris that were produced in the village named Bomkai in Orissa (Eastern part of India). These sarees also have touches of ikat work, with light colored body, and Rudraksha border with jagged temple pattern running along the border. Bomkai saris was originally made for the local maharaja, aristocracy and Brahmins of the districts in and around Orissa.
